Breathedge 2 Platforms: PS5, Xbox, Switch, Epic and Deck

Where you can buy it today

• Steam — the Early Access release, Windows 10/11 64-bit only. No macOS or Linux build.
• Epic Games Store and Humble — listed on PCGamingWiki; the Humble key is a Steam key. Epic’s page was not reachable for us to confirm a date.

That is the complete list. “breathedge 2 ps5”, “xbox”, “switch”, “game pass”, “console release date” and “microsoft windows store” are all live searches, and the answer to every one of them is: not announced.

Consoles

HypeTrain Digital’s own game page still lists “Release date: TBA” alongside older text about the ship and crew, which is the publisher’s placeholder for everything beyond the Steam Early Access launch. Nothing on the roadmap mentions platforms.

The first Breathedge went from PC Early Access (2018) to a full PC release (2021) and then to PS4, Xbox One and Switch, with a VR spin-off later. That is the only evidence for consoles: a studio that has ported before, a publisher that handled it, and a sequel whose 1.0 is planned for 2028. Expect nothing before then.

Game Pass

Not on Game Pass, and no announcement. The search volume for it comes from the first game’s history and the general Xbox traffic around “game pass”.

Steam Deck

Steam shows no Deck compatibility rating yet. One forum player runs the game on a Steam Deck in Story mode and reports it works, with a HUD glitch after the snowman quest. Full controller support is listed and the DualShock/DualSense entries are on the store page, so a Deck or controller session is viable; see system requirements.

VR

No VR mode. “Breathedge: Cosmic Cluck” is the first game’s separate VR title. One Steam review plays the sequel through the unofficial UEVR injector and calls it good, which is not the same thing.
